) Tiny Tigers is an exciting martial arts program designed especially for young children age 3-6 years. Children enrolled in Tiny Tigers will learn some basic martial arts skills, but more importantly they will learn discipline, team skills, confidence, respectful and positive behaviors, all while developing good fitness habits, coordination, language and communication skills, and an enthusiasm for learning. Tiny Tiger classes are 30 minutes in length, and meet several times per week. Students may choose to attend from one to three classes each week. Students are rewarded for successfully participating in each class, as well as learning the skills in the curriculum. Our Tiny Tigers program is directed by Shihan Elise Flynn, who in addition to holding a 5th degree Black Belt in karate, and a 4th degree Black Belt in Jujutsu, is also a trained educator. She has experience teaching in area public schools and running community education programs, holds a Masters Degree in Education, and holds permanent teacher certification from New York State.
